Ri·dic·u·lous: arousing or deserving ridicule, extremely silly or unreasonable.

In the last week, I can’t count how many times I have said this word…

I have used it to describe the environment around me, gigantic mountains jutting out into the sky, rainforest in unlikely places, and sea stacks hanging on to the memories of being connected to the shore.

I have used it to describe my circumstances, the incredible job I get to go to each day, coming alongside youth who have been where I have been, working at an organization that supports my development, being invited to an incredible leadership opportunity, people opening up their homes, offices, talents, and hearts to me as they shared their personal and professional experiences.

I have said it in response to God’s unwavering love for me, that just continues to blow me away. The way that love has manifested through friendships, trips to the other side of the country, and camaraderie amongst my peers who have overcome impossible realities.

My life is ridiculous. It is absurd and unreasonable to be where I’m at today. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
